Summer is upon us so lets get into shape

Maybe you want to fit into those jeans that you fit into in high school or maybe you want those wash board abs that you never had. Either way the only way to get there is diet. Seventy five percent of losing fat is diet and believe me that is fat around your waist. You are not flabby you are fat! If you can grab an inch of fat on any part of your waist you are fat. Exercising the area will not make it go away, only losing the fat will make it go away and only dieting will work to lose fat.

So why do we get fat in the first place? Simply stated we consume more calories than we burn off. There are 3500 calories to one pound of fat. Most of us are anywhere from 20 to 50 pounds over weight. Just do the math and you can see that exercise that burns 300 to 600 calories an hour just wont get us there. We have to restrict our caloric intake to make this work.
